Downes' producing credits include Moms' Night Out, Woodlawn, I Can Only Imagine, and I Still Believe, which was released in 2020. Downes also oversaw American Underdog, which told the incredible story of NFL legend Kurt Warner, and worked on the documentary The Jesus Music which catalogued the history of contemporary Christian music. Additional films include Jesus Revolution, Unbreakable Boy, Unsung Hero, Ordinary Angels, White Bird, Sarah's Oil, and The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, directed by Dallas Jenkins along with the recently released I Can Only Imagine 2.
Downes' commitment to inspirational storytelling has earned him multiple GMA Dove Awards for Inspirational Film of the Year, including I Can Only Imagine (2018), I Still Believe (2020), and Feature Film of the Year for Jesus Revolution (2023). His work, rooted in true stories and themes of faith, hope, forgiveness, and redemption, reflects his dedication to creating high-quality, hope-inspired entertainment.
